Dr. Shahil Narsey

Shahil, a recently graduated osteopath, holds a passion for sports rehabilitation. He completed his Bachelor of Clinical Science (Osteopathic Studies) and Master of Osteopathic Medicine in 2024 at Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast. Originally from Toowoomba, Shahil’s interest in aiding individuals in recovering from injuries was ignited at a young age of 12 through his involvement in football and cricket.
As an osteopath, Shahil has a keen interest in treating sports-related injuries and focuses on enhancing athletic performance through evidence-based practice. His approach involves a comprehensive assessment of movement to guide injury prevention and rehabilitation. Shahil’s expertise encompasses Soft Tissue techniques, Muscle Energy Techniques (MET), Myo-facial Release, and joint manipulation (HVLA), as well as exercise prescription to improve overall musculoskeletal function.
With his recent graduation and a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, Shahil is well-equipped to provide personalised treatment plans for a wide range of conditions. He recognises the significance of accurate diagnosis and tailored rehabilitation programs in facilitating expedited recovery and education around preventing future injuries.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Shahil enjoys going to the beach, reading, participating in sports, and socialising with friends. These interests align with his holistic approach to health and well-being, emphasising the treatment of the body as a comprehensive unit.
