What Is an Osteopath
Osteopaths are Government Registered Health Practitioners responsible to the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Board. We complete five years of university education and additional continuing professional development to diagnose, treat, manage and prevent painful musculoskeletal disorders. Using a range of manual techniques, including massage, stretching and joint manipulation. More specifically, we relieve pressure on postural areas by understanding and applying the mechanical principles of your posture. Those specific to you because no two people have the same spine or shape.

Osteopath, Sports Performance Expert, and educator.
Dr. John White
Owner and Osteopath
John graduated from Victoria University in 2002 and has been helping people in Kangaroo Point and Brisbane who want to stay strong, active, and healthy for over two decades.
Before starting Osteoworks and training Osteopaths in-house at the clinic, John taught Clinical Anatomy to students at the Australian College of Natural Medicine.
He’s a hugely popular family Osteopath whose practice has grown through word of mouth and a never-ending stream of happy, pain-free customers. But John is also a peak performance expert helping athletes maintain optimal health, recover from injuries, and perform at their absolute best.
However, regardless of what type of patient is in front of him, John treats their aches and pains and simplifies the causes of their pain and educates patients on how to avoid pain and injury in the future.
