Dr Chris Jensen has joined Osteoworks in 2015 direct from his osteopathic training and exerience in the UK.
Chris began studies in Human movementafter school, but it was his passion for food that caused him to defer these studies and begin a chef's apprenticeship. After working around restaurants in Brisbane and completing his apprenticeship, Chris travelled to London, to gain more experience there. What was intended to be a 2 year holiday turned into a 10 year stint in London, with Chris returning to Australia in 2014 with his wife and young son.
It was whilst in London that Chris met a friend who was studying Osteopathy, and after seeing how passionate she was, and the results that she was getting with Osteopathy, Chris decided that this was what he wanted to do.
Whilst completing his Masters in Osteopathy, Chris also completed a Sports Massage and Rehabilitation diploma, and short courses in Dry Needling. It is through the techniques of soft tissue massage, manipulation and myofascial release that Chris can restore balance to your body, provide postural support to help you deal with the stresses of day to day living.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys entering endurance events, completing two 'Oxfam trailwalker' 100km events, and has also completed a 5km swim as part of the Swimathon charity event in under 90 mins.
